Thank you for posting this information about 'Writing Science Fiction and Fantasy' I found it pretty interesting.

I have found the information very helpful. Thank you.

I find this blog much helpful. Thank you.

But maybe a search function would be good, because I want to ask a question, but I don't know if it is answered already.

Here is my question: What do you think of Creative Commons licensed novels?

Do you think a writer can gain something sharing a novel for free? Can it be a valuable advertisement for the writer? I am thinking to share my second novel on the internet, do you advise so?

Hey, thanks for that download!

When I started reading your post, I was feeling a bit disheartened that I already had the book's first edition. Now I feel better.

I will. And buy the deadtree version, too :)

Great Info thx!

That is exciting to know. Thanks!

I just bought the book this weekend... and I use a Mac at work and Linux at home. This is greatly appreciated!

Enjoying it immensely so far. It's really making me think.

Thanks for the download, that's awfully generous of you. The "Ten Steps for Pre-Editing" looks particularly useful :)

Great stuff - really useful and very much appreciated.

Hey! I brought this book. And thanks for the downloads.

I have the book's first edition, but I think I'll get this latest edition as well. Great info!

Anyone who knows anything about writing an ebook like this, only making it accessible to all computer operating systems, please contact me. I have some questions about it.

Thanks, and great post as usual.

Bryan

I just ran across your blog for the first time. I read through some of the file download. (Being a bit virus phobic, I was hesitant to download it. I'm more comfortable with PDF, rather than DOC.)

One part that interested me was the October 1995 article on Science Fiction and the Internet. I would count myself as an older SF reader. I don't read much any more, so I am completely clueless about the contemporary writers but probably more familiar with writers that younger readers don't know.

I wonder how much of this is due to science fiction proliferation. I don't watch many movies anymore either, because the volume exceeds my capacity to process at it. When I do watch a movie, it usually seems to be derivative of several movies I have already seen.

So generous of you.
