A one-day workshop on "preparedness, control and containment of Bird Flu" was organized by directorate of veterinary and animal husbandry services (DAHS) at the conference hall of Manipur state veterinary council today.
The workshop was participated by the media and public representatives among others.
DAHS and Tribal Development Minister, DD Thaisi and Director DAHS, Dr Th Dorendra graced the opening function as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
DD Thaisi mentioned the necessity to spread awareness on bird flu in the hilly areas of the state.
