The MSPP has published cholera statistics for March 23 and 24 on its Documentation page. On March 24, 404 cases were identified and 185 hospitalized. Five persons died, with a case fatality ratio of 1.2 percent.
In total, Haiti has now seen at least 268,444 cholera cases, with 143,357 hospitalizations and 4,758 deaths. CFR since the outbreak began in October is now at 1.8 percent. But 4 of the 5 deaths on March 24 were in Sud Est, where the CFR remains high at 8.1 percent.
