MSPP has posted another week's worth of cholera statistics on its Documentation page, bringing us up to July 22. My new approach to these numbers is to check the national case totals as well as the daily counts of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.
This time the deaths reflect the daily reports: from 7,442 on July 15 to 7,455 on July 22, with a total of 13 deaths reported. But the daily tally gives us 945 new cases, while the national total is 1,005—meaning 60 cases, from who knows when or where, have been inserted.
So with that warning, here are the cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and departments in which deaths occurred:
July 16: 128; 88; 1 (Nord)
July 17: 138; 93; 2 (1 Artibonite, 1 Sud Est)
July 18: 165; 105; 3 (All Sud Est)
July 19: 142; 84; 2 (Both Sud Est)
July 20: 142; 98; 4 (2 Port-au-Prince, 2 Sud Est)
July 21: 121; 73; 1 (Centre)
July 22: 109; 67; 0
