Via The Himalayan Times: Cholera kills two in Doti.
DIPAYAL: Cholera has claimed two more lives in Baglek VDC of Doti, taking the death toll since the outbreak of the disease about a month-and-a-half ago to 12.
According to the District Public Health Office, nine-month-old Bipana Kunwar and 70-year-old Saluwa Bhul succumbed to the disease on Thursday night.
Cholera is sweeping across neighbouring VDCs as well, putting more lives at risk. Majority of those succumbing to the disease are children and elderly.
Locals accused the government of failing to understand the gravity of the situation .
