MSPP has posted two more days' worth of cholera statistics on its Documentation page. As usual, delayed reports have added more to the totals than the daily cases: On September 19, 123 new cases were diagnosed but the total since October 2010 rose by 352.
In any case, MSPP reports, as of September 20, a total of 594,198 cholera cases since the start of the outbreak 23 months ago. Three more people died on these two days, bringing the total to 7,585.
In the light of these numbers, you might want to read today's news item in Haiti Libre about some new appointments at MSPP. You'll find a passing reference to tuberculosis, but not a syllable about cholera.
