I'm scheduling this post to appear on Thursday night, when my wife and I should be on our way to Stockholm for a week. The European Centre for Disease Control has very kindly invited me to visit its home office to discuss the use of blogs and other online media in reporting on public-health issues. I'll be working with ECDC from Monday through Wednesday; the rest of our time will be devoted to exploring a city we never thought we'd get to see.
So blogging will be erratic over the next few days. I'll try to post when time permits, but the links here can keep you very well informed without me. In particular, check Mike Coston's Avian Flu Diary, FluTrackers, CIDRAP, and ProMED-mail...and of course ECDC itself.
