The CDC has published the October 23 update of its HAI - Multistate Meningitis Outbreak - Current Case Count. The death count remains at 23. Cases have risen to 308, including four peripheral joint infections.
In New Hampshire, a Republican freshman congressman is reported to have said "I don't think you need more" regulation of the pharmaceutical industry. New Hampshire has so far reported 10 cases.
