It's a little past 7:00 on Friday morning here in Stockholm, where the streets and sidewalks are dusted by the snow that fell last night—quite a change after Thursday's cold, brilliantly sunny weather. I've spent the past hour doing a little blogging (see posts below), and later this morning my wife and I will head for Arlanda on our way home to Vancouver.
It's been a fascinating and very instructive stay here, and I'm grateful to my new friends at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control for inviting me to take part in their internal assessment.
After about twelve hours of flying and several more of waiting around at Heathrow, I don't expect to be in shape for more blogging until sometime Saturday. In the meantime, thanks for your patience. If you run across any news reports you think deserve attention, please email me with the links.
