Em entrevista à Agência Brasil, Giovanini Coelho lembrou que pesquisas recentes demostram que o brasileiro se sente bem informado em relação à doença e às medidas de prevenção. O grande desafio, segundo ele, é transformar esse conhecimento em mudança de comportamento.
In an interview with Agencia Brasil, Giovanini Coelho said that recent research shows that the typical Brazilian feels well informed about the disease and ways to prevent it. The big challenge, he says, is to turn this awareness into changed behaviour.
"É fácil prevenir a dengue, mas é importante que a população efetivamente adote mudanças de comportamento por meio de ações que ela conhece muito bem", explicou.
"It's easy to prevent dengue," he explained, "but it's important that the public effectively adopts changes in behaviour to improve the actions they know very well about."
