The latest figures released by the Health Services Authority confirm 23 suspected cases of dengue fever have been under investigation in 2013.
Since the last update three weeks ago, 15 new cases have emerged. Of those cases, five of those were residents of George Town, three from Bodden Town, and seven from West Bay. None of them had travel history to an endemic area, suggesting the cases were contracted locally.
