Prensa Latina has this report, but I don't see it yet on the Cambodian Ministry of Health website, or WHO Western Pacific Region's:
Cambodia Estimates Bird Flu Outbreak Under Control. Excerpt:
Cambodia estimated today that it has successfully controlled the outbreak of H5N1 bird flu, which has killed several people since January, after the passage of two weeks without any new cases detected.
The National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) attributes this apparent stop of the disease's spread to the time response of health authorities and improving public awareness against the threat.
The committee's First Vice President, Nhim Vanda, said that the government highly values the support and effective coordination effort achieved by Japan, the European Union and United Nations agencies.
He admitted, however, that the pandemic may appears again at any time due to the unhygienic habits of poultry farmers and butchers, particularly in rural areas.
In January and February 2013, Cambodia recorded the highest worldwide rate of mortality due to H5N1, with eight deaths recognized, five of them occurring in districts bordering Vietnam.
