MSPP has released 8 days' worth of cholera statistics on its Documentation page, taking us from March 4 to March 13. For some reason March 5 was not included, and on March 6, the death count fell to 8,048 from 8,057 on March 4. And through this whole period, no more cholera deaths were reported.
The total cumulative cases increased by 769 between March 4 and 13, while the daily cases rose by only 466. Adding to the surprises, Grande Anse dutifully reported every day, while Nord and Nord Est failed to submit their numbers.
Haiti, according to MSPP, has now recorded 650,218 cholera cases since October 2010.
