I've just checked the H5N1 chronology posted here on February 27, and I begin to feel cautiously optimistic.
The first case showed symptoms on January 8 and seems to have recovered by January 25, when the news broke. The ninth and latest case, Thoeun Doeun, showed symptoms on February 8 and died on February 25. So we had nine cases in a month, and then silence.
If the Cambodians aren't treating more recent patients without telling the world, the outbreak may have ended.
