Via abc13.com: City of Houston confirms teenager died from H1N1.
The city of Houston confirms another death from the H1N1 virus.
The Department of Health and Human Services says a teenager has died. That brings the total of H1N1 deaths in Houston to four now. The other deaths already reported were all men -- ages 45, 50 and 53.
The city health department also says it's seeing an improvement in the numbers of people coming down with flu-like symptoms over the last two weeks.
This is a report the Saudis might admire, apart from the absence of a pious official wish for the salvation of the victim's soul. It doesn't tell us the person's age or sex, when the person fell ill, or any details about the progress of the disease. I suppose this protects the privacy of a dead minor, but it does little to improve public understanding of the likelihood of more deaths.
