I listened through this press conference and the reporter questions. Much like a financial conference format actually.
There were a few points from the WHO team, much is what we have read in prior reports. So not a lot new learned. A question near the end was the most perceptive but I think was not understood by the WHO team and so not answered properly:
A few excerpts:
1. Most of the cases are coming out of the Forestiere area of Guinea. All other cases can be traced to this area in some way. The hunter in Liberia was negative for Ebola. There have of course been case to case transmissions outside this area but they do not believe there is another source presently.
That seems to point to a single source for the outbreak. And here is the 44-minute audio of the news conference.
