Via Saudi Gazette: Kingdom advises against travel to Ebola-hit areas.
The Ministry of Health has advised Saudi citizens and residents not to travel to Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea until a further notice due to the outbreak of Ebola virus in those countries.
The ministry stressed that it is closely monitoring the situation in the infected region in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO).
The ministry’s advice, it said, comes in the wake of the precautionary measures being taken by the Kingdom since April. They include stopping Umrah and Haj visas to citizens of those countries.
Meanwhile, the KSA MOH still hasn't officially said whether the suspected Ebola case really did die of Ebola. And as of noon August 8, no new MERS cases, deaths, or recoveries. Or follow-up statements.
