The National Institute of Health has published its Boletín Epidemiológico for week 13. In that week, eight new cases of microcephaly and other congenital central nervous system defects have been reported. Between week 1 of 2016 and week 13 of 2017, 137 Zika-associated cases of microcephaly and congenital CNS defects have been confirmed. This is an increase of one over week 12. Another 342 suspected cases have been discarded, and 556 are under study.
