The Island remembers its black pioneers

Tom Hawthorn in the Globe and Mail writes: The Island remembers its black pioneers. Excerpt:
The fascinating story of Vancouver Island's black pioneers will be retold on B.C. Black History and Heritage Day on Sunday. "We don't think this history is widely known at all," said Ron Nicholson of the B.C. Black History Awareness Society. "Each year, there are a few more people who get reached."
The article has some very kind words for Go Do Some Great Thing.
