Haiti: 7,040 cholera deaths as of March 1

The MSPP has put two more weeks' worth of cholera statistics on its Documentation page. Here are the numbers for March 1, the most recent day:

Cases: 77

Hospitalizations: 29

Deaths: 1

Totals since the outbreak began in October 2010:

Cases: 530,953

Hospitalizations: 285,762

Deaths: 7,040

So 10 people have died since the last report on February 12. When the rains start in April, we may see more cases and deaths. But we probably won't know about them until May or June.
