Dr. Ian Mackay's Virology Down Under blog has an excellent summary of what we know so far about Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV). His quick numbers:

• Total human cases of MERS-CoV: 53

• Total deaths attributed to infection with MERS-CoV: 33

• Current Case Fatality Rate (CFR): 62%
