Ministry of Health Undersecretary Dr Khalid Al-Sehlawi recently issued a circular about the intention of the Infection Prevention Administration to train workers in the medical sector on the precautionary measures that should be taken to combat Coronavirus as per the recommendations of the World Health Organization, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources.
Sources disclosed all concerned authorities and officials in the medical sector will be required to attend lectures on the virus and ways to prevent infection. Sources said this is aimed at developing the skills of the personnel in order to ensure they know how to deal with Coronavirus patients, if the need arises. Sources added an integrated program will be prepared for each unit in hospitals and for the benefit of everyone working in the medical sector.
