A little earlier I posted an item from the Saudi Gazette, about a new MERS death and an 83-year-old who was ill but still alive. Now Arab News has this report: MERS kills 83-year-old.
Three new cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), including a death, were reported by the Ministry of Health here on Saturday.
“An 83-year-old Saudi man died in Asir, while the test of a new suspected case, also a man, proved positive,” said the ministry.
The third case involves a 63-year-old woman, who has underlying medical conditions. The total number of virus victims has reached 70, which includes 39 deaths.Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Health still has nothing new on its English-language coronavirus page. Its Corona Overview page also says 70 cases but only 38 deaths. I have no idea what's going on. I hope we'll get a Sunday update from WHO.
