Despite the sorrows of Google's efforts to translate Arabic to English, I have been checking the hashtag #Coruna more and more often these days. The Saudi twittersphere is big and growing, and today I've just learned about another: Corona Jubail. So a handful of local MERS cases have triggered more online attention, and I want to encourage this trend.
Even if you use Google Chrome and tell it to automatically translate from Arabic, you're not going to experience instant enlightenment. But it's better than relying on the English-language version of the Saudi corona page. I just hope the Saudi authorities don't crack down on the tweeters.
