South Kivu: First case cured Ebola in Chowe | The essential.
The Ebola Treatment Center in Chowe Township, Lwindi Chiefdom, Mwenga Territory, Tuesday recorded its first case of curing this epidemic in South Kivu.
This first survivor is a man, the father of the 17-month-old child who had lost the battle against this disease in the same center. Scenes of joy, song and dance were recorded in the community following the presentation by the response team of this first person cured of this disease.
Sources at the health minister in South Kivu say that at the Ebola treatment center in Chowe two more patients are still being held there and their health is improving.
