Just out of the oven 10 minutes ago, and glazed with sugar and coffee.
Somehow in my household it became a tradition for me to make pulla on Christmas Eve. Pulla is a Finnish coffee bread, and it's a good Christmas Day breakfast. The recipe makes three loaves, so just my wife and I will get to enjoy it this year (and into early January). If you find yourself with a little spare time over the holidays, you might enjoy making some too:
Update: This year's pulla is out of the oven and cooling on the counter. It smells wonderful, but one of these years I'm going to have to learn how to braid properly.
